Regardless of place, each of us is forced at birth to be bound to a place.
We become attached to a particular society that has certain customs and rules and that transmits to us, in the early years of growing up, its "way of speaking" and its culture.
Our particular way of seeing the worldThe early years of such personal development are key to the adolescent years and later adulthood.
The family, also not chosen, and their acquaintances have already been in charge of "infecting" us with their language and with it, their particular accent.
The family will infect us with their particular way of seeing the world as well as, later on, the relationships that we will have.
Undoubtedly, when we leave our place of origin, this will be a feature that will identify us on many occasions.
As we know, a communicative message contains a lot of information about the person who is speaking: geography is mixed with other social factors such as education or age.
Within the instruction, not only enter the educational levels we have, but also the habits, values and forms of behavior that we are familiar to see since we were children.

We could, then, arrive in Holland and be forced to thank the waiter when we get up from the table in a restaurant. Or, surely, we would go to Japan or China, and when we left a tip we would get a dirty look and feel offended.
It could also be that if we were to travel we would find people who would shake our hands in Germany, but not give us two kisses, or people who eat with their hands as a symbol of better nutrition in India.
It seems to be intuited with these examples what the song affirms: we are what we are because we were born where we were born.
The intentions of patriotic defense are left out: one country is not more important than another, we can simply feel more or less identified with the culture we have acquired since we were born.
The rest of the cultural codes must be acquired out of respect and tolerance for those people who are so because of the socio-cultural context in which they find themselves, like you and me.
We are children of a time

There may come a time in life when we have grown up enough to come to this reflection.
Perhaps it is not that we are children of a place, but children of a vital moment.
Our children will be the inheritance we want to leave them and, metaphorically speaking, it includes everything that, as we have said, symbolizes a place.
It is not a question of belonging or not to a specific country, but of the existence of many visions of seeing the patterns of human behavior.
The time in which we live shapes the spaces and vice versa; and, undoubtedly, that and our decisions speak for ourselves.
We are conditioned by what our ancestors were composing, in traditions, in relative ways of seeing the world.
